JohnnyoftheWell - I will give this a proper go but am really going to have to be in the mood I'm thinking.
Maudlin of the Well are decent so SHOULD be ok I guess.

Some of this is laughable tbh
|

Only laughable bit outside of the occasional vocal inflection is the lyrics in the second half of Marathon, but that's just background noise to those sweet sweet keys
Doof I can't see KD fitting into what I think you think is good songwriting in the way that motW does, but I can imagine you digging Hubardo and Coffins on Io more than this tbh

But there is definitely something here. Undeniable musical talent and at least it’s genuinely entertaining while being different and not overly wanky. Manifold Curiosity is quality.

I predict Doof’s rating will match mine, it is definitely a ‘mood’ album, although I’m still looking for that (possibly non-existent) state of mind which elevates my enjoyment further.

Mood albums aren't real.

LMAO at Hawks. The feud continues. Will he ever bury the hatchet of hatred? Only god knows.

"All albums are mood albums"
I can accept that more than the idea that only some albums are "mood" albums.
