The wicked end, Sidewinder, and the song I love to mention are amazing. But the rest of the album ranges from okay, this could have been much better, to absolutely dreadful ("Bat Country", "Blinded In Chains", "Beast and The Harlot".)

"Bat Country" and "Beast and The Harlot" have the two worst vocal performances on the album, so maybe that's why I am not seeing the redeeming factor in that.

last time I listened to this only 4 songs were listenable and the rest I couldnt tolerate for more than a minute, is a 2.5 the right rating for me?

yeah probably, a two is probably more fitting though.

Solid review. You definatly went easier on them than i would have. There is absolutly no reason whatsoever for cheesy 80's glammed-up hair metal to make a comeback. It was bad enough the first time.
That goes for you too, Escape The Fate.
Rubbish Album. If you appreciate good music, or are older than 14, steer clear.

I thought that your review wasn't the least bit biased. You brought up a lot of points that basically read my mind.
I gave the album a 3.5 because even if all of the songs aren't as strong as A7X could be (i.e. WTF) I can listen to this album over and over again because it was the first A7X album I ever listened to.
