Both albums have the same tone, same song structures, similar sounding riffs and breakdowns, and both vocalists sound the same. Then afterward both bands went off in different directions.

I also prefer Dead In My Arms slightly, but neither band has ever impressed me. I'm sure whatever Carnifex is up to now is lightyears better than what SS is doing.
