HOLV has the best artwork because of the cohesion with its sound. the sound reflects the hazy redness perfectly. the best straight up artwork is Love's Easy Tears which is also their second best work in general. Blue Bell Knoll has disappointing artwork for being their third best

it’s just that the production on this record gives me a very “amateur discovering FL studio plugins/presets” vibe, and I can’t seem to get into it no matter how hard I try
a shame because I usually go crazy over this aesthetic/genre

the production itself never bothered me or sounded amateurish to me. but the loop heavy nature of some songs like Pandora does bother me a bit. i remember people getting reallyyyy mad when i said that a while back on this thread lol. it's something they improved on a lot after this album
