just pointing out that when they started posting cryptic shit teasing gore on Instagram, the album came out like four months later.

I would be really surprised if the new record isn't released in the next 12 months.

I started to laugh really hard when Chino posted a photo of Martin Gore

But seriously, it's just such limp song. There's always been a theme of sexuality in Deftones music but it always had that creepy undercurrent to it that balanced the beauty like on songs like Lhabia, MX, Digital Bath, Butcher, etc. Sextape is just so straight-laced it hardly even feels like a Deftones song.

I don't know French, but I always felt uncomfortable listening/singing air's sexy boy. I want to assume that it's from a girl's point of view.

I like the vibes of Sextape. It always gets me chilled. However, I can understand your point, which is mostly criticizing the lyrics, right? But since I'm not a native english speaker, maybe it's just not bothering me that much. Actually I always wondered what it's like for english speaking countries to listen to the music I'm listening to (music in my countries language sucks ass, not only because of the language but also because of the lack of talent here).

To name more songs about gay stuff (btw: no hating here): Faith No More's "Be Aggressive" is written by their keyboardist about a blowjob. He had his coming out in the early 90s.

Yeah I see where you're coming from eclipse. If foriegn bands were singing (or screaming) about taking dicks in the ass I would be none the wiser because lyrics aren't a primary concern for me.

That said, sextape is great.
