Alright, enough time has passed now. Can we all admit now that this album isn’t good, with the exceptions of Genesis and the title track? I gave it another listen through the other day. Sounds like a whole bunch of filler. Very few memorable moments throughout the album.

band is the epitome of "grower not a shower" so 1 jam doesnt rlly do this justice. dont think it even hit me until like my 8th or 9th jam or smth (band is also the epitome of "sounds much better with weed" lmao the first time this hit me i was stoned as shit)



this has grown off me a bit for sure tho still think its better than their last 3 albums bc theres much more attention to detail in these compositions and all the members that arent chino are writing some of their most interesting stuff in a while, but chino is so clearly the weak link now so even tho i still really dig it, on the rare occasion i feel like jamming them ill probably just throw on self titled or wrist instead
