There's also bit of like tom waitsy red right handy vibe to this. With the black moon imagery and storm in eyes metaphors made me think it could be in the peaky blinders soundtrack haha.

Perhaps they returned to advertise Vin's project. I had a suspicion of that already before, I think it'd make sense. Sorry I missed the concerts in the summer, thinking if I should fly to the UK in the fall...maybe last chance?

Well, that's because side projects usually suck & we are drawn to the "aura" of the original. Change members and the charm is gone. But that single that Vin released is good, very Daisy.

Seeing them live in a couple weeks (never seen them live before). I initially had mixed feelings about the situation, but then I realised Jesse's not the same man as he was 20 years ago. I get why people hold a grudge against Brand New, I wouldn't hold anything against you if you did. But personally, I believe he deserves a shot at redemption. I've always got the impression he was quite a troubled individual, and he clearly made some big mistakes. And I think all the hate thrown towards him is more than enough conviction. Not defending what he did, but, I'm willing to give him a second chance. I might regret this comment, but at least I'm being honest.

You do you. The most recent allegation had him at 30 years old around 2010 telling a 15 year old girl that he wished she was older so they could get married. Sure that was 15 years ago, not 20, which is still a good while back but it just tells me he was a huge creep and it's hard to separate knowing that while going to his shows and cheering him on. I couldn't imagine doing what he did at 30. I'm 32 now and have a 16 year old sort of stepsister and I just see her as a little kid. Idk. I love their music but it's been tarnished and I can't wait until my Deja tattoo is done being lasered off.
That said, their setlists have looked incredible and I like the new songs I heard from Jesse a few months ago. If you go, definitely enjoy yourself and I hope you're as blown away as I was when I first saw them live. It's a top 3 show I've ever been to.
