Definitely not hate, but his passes deserve a charge-up meter before every throw.

Lol. He seemed like the nicest dude ever but not a very good quarterback

Yeah public interest in him started and ended with Jesus

I don't think it ever ended tbh. A minor league baseball player hasn't received this much attention since Michael Jordan lol

Wish he was in the NFL long enough for the flag kneeling; would Jesus kneel or nay during the anthem?

I'm still wondering if that whole thing was a stunt by Kaepernick to keep himself relevant after getting benched. It worked either way

The amount of people triggered by the kneeling is so fucking stupid.

From someone who watches the NFL the whole kneeling controversy is embarrassing tbh. Between that and the fact that players and officials don't even understand some of the rules the league is kinda becoming a joke

I think this nationalistic outlook on America is embarrassing to begin with. And Kapernick is a hyrpocite because the dude didn't even vote. Like how can you be all about change but not vote. The whole thing is a mess and it's fucking stupid.

If you’re referring to voting in this last presidential election, it’s completely understandable why someone would not have voted but still want change. I didn’t vote either. Because both candidates were equally shitty and neither of them had any hope of doing anything I was looking for. If that’s not what you’re referring to, I apologize

"The amount of people triggered by the kneeling is so fucking stupid. "
I'm not triggered. I'm just saying he got benched and immediately started kneeling. That's a pretty big coincidence

Then vote third party my guy.
And yeah it was all for publicity.

It’s pretty well known that voting third party is a wasted vote. Yes, it shows that there is interest in those other platforms, but Trump and Clinton just had too many diehard supporters for a third party vote to even make sense imo. I voted in the primaries to try to get the candidate I wanted, but alas.
Agreed that people offended by kneeling are brain dead

In my country we have a saying "if you don't vote, you'll vote for extremists" - because they always gonna vote therefor have a better result in %. Maybe the proportion of those voting for third party is showing the politics that many people aren't/weren't satisfied with both major candidates. I don't know...still find that "only 2 big options" thing weird tbh. But then again: it's your thing, I'm not from the US so who am I to judge?
What I thought was funny about the whole kneeling stuff: the (alt) right wing people shitting on the players doing it while they are the ones always saying "freedom of speech!" when someone is calling them out as racists.

No the two party system is fucked, and if you feel like voting third party is a waste then you're only adding to the issue.
The divide between parties has grown so much that they hate each other. That's not how it should be and a main cause is the fact that people identify with one party and dig themselves in.

No, I completely agree with the two party system being awful. Being a moderate in that system is quite ass
