no way in the hell this is as boring as Gore, there's lush, dreamy and beautifully emotive parts on here, and brutally heavy parts (some of the heaviest stuff Deftones have done in many years) and it's produced immaculately by Terry Date. Really can't discount Terry Date's influence on the sound, I consider him a member of the band really. He is crucial to their sound in my opinion.

Album's definitely better than Gore but it's far from White Pony and I'd put DE and KNY above it too
