Everything on here rules except Convalescent though and that's still great
It just works so well as one collective album I don't even understand how omg

It does yeah, some serious artistic vision even if it is ridiculously pretentious.

No way is this pretentious dude they execute it perfectly

Not saying its a bad thing, so much of the best music is self-indulgent and better for it.

| |
Album Rating: 4.1
I don't find this self-indulgent at all though I mean there's no wanking instrumental sections or overlong songs, everything that's here needs to be and no more imo

Not yet man, still smashing Laura at the moment, I'm in a real indie-folk craze. Will jam them soon
for sure.
Where are you at with Arcade Fire/The National?

Album Rating: 4.1
Ah righto hope you dig they're fucking insane and kinda scary but great too
Arcade Fire I've jammed Funeral, Suburbs and the new song which was dece, haven't got to Neon Bible yet. Still haven't got round to the National yet.

New song rules yeah, prefer Funeral or Suburbs? NB is the least best IMO. Fair enough dude, there is just way too much music to work through.

I liked Reflektor but it was a bit too long and they underused Bowie hard, if there's one thing I hate it's when great artists bring in other great artists and then the guests are hardly even used it's fucking annoying
I've only jammed em once each but I'd probably go for Funeral, Suburbs was a tad overlong and coulda used some trimming although there were some bangers in there
Tbh it's not that I've had too much new music lately I just haven't been in the right mood for jamming them plus haven't had the time cos of exams, now that they're finished I should be able to give em a spin soon

Yeah man totally, no point jamming something if you're not feeling it. Agreed on Suburbs. Dude, it breaks down so hard at about 3 minutes in. New album will rule. They could have used Bowie a little more though, yeah.
Funeral
Suburbs
Neon Bible
Haven't listened to the EP.
