i have illmatic and midnight marauders if that helps lol, i think the big kicker is i generally do count skits I dislike against the overall scores and a lot of hip hop albums have skits that I just cannot get behind, so usually if there aren't a bunch of dopey skits it's easier to see a 5 being right, Em in particular had some of the dumbest ass skits that I almost always skip
super lyrical gets annoying, super mainstream "mumbling" type rap annoys me, hell it took me listening to the dedication tapes to finally realize how good Wayne was in his prime altho i liked carter 2, i think i like a balance where they're saying something but not trying to go way too fast
