it's a maiden album so it's gonna be quality yeh
but it's quite boring as well and bloated like their last 3 records unfortunately

They are bloody bloated yeah but there’s something about them last 3 that I wouldn’t change.
They are true signature pieces of where the band went by doing their own thing. I love ‘em.

I would love a follow-up to this thing sometime soon. I can't believe this is the album that got me into Maiden a few years back. I always took them for granted as a band that I was aware of, but didn't really dig but I gave it a try and then became hooked on the rest of their discog. Kind of doing the same thing with Judas Priest at the moment

Same happened to me Zaku, some 10 years ago, sometimes it's easy to dismiss a band with a legendary reputation such as Maiden, but these guys are something else

It seems he has only stepped down from touring. Maybe he'll still be on record (if they do record again, but why wouldn't they huh)
Gotta say that next tour really looks like a goodbye tour though.

Fair play to the band though - one of the most consistent and impressive groups in history.
