I think he is in the right element. He’s tried some things that are atrocious though and wish he hadn’t. But given the right songs and sounds, yes. Dealer is where he shines, personally. But greyhound is definitely a wonderful showcase of his talent too.
Eiffel will always be my favorite moment of his

So he is good live? I love him on the albums but when i heard the Smidley Audiotree version of In Poor Taste i kinda thought he seemed weak live?

Of the five(ish) times I’ve seen them, yes Conor is fucking amazing. Not just at sounding as close as he can to recorded material but is just fun to watch. You can tell he’s having the time of his life.
I remember when they did the record release show for this they headlined the Pageant, which is probably the largest club sized venue in STL. He gave a little speech about how it’s an honor to have been going to shows there his entire life and now has the opportunity to headline it. Made me a little misty eyed, preceded to put on one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in my life. You can tell that they leave it all out there by the end of their shows.

Yeah, Foxing is a must-see live band imo. And Conor has crushed it every time I've seen them.

I've seen Foxing so many times to the point where I'll leave mid-set now to beat the rush lol. They're ALWAYS touring around man
but now with new material I'll sit through the whole thing again

Smidley live is something special too, especially since the venues are so much more intimate

Yeah I gave spit one listen just to see if it could somehow be as good as Hell 99 and Greyhound.
I’m not even gonna listen to those songs anymore for the next two weeks. Even looking back at the year as a whole, if foxing had dropped Greyhound and announced the record six months ago this would still be my most anticipated record of the year.
Favorite band still going at it and it seems like they’re not slowing down for a second. Theyve been around for over a decade, but they’re all still so young, even at this point these guys have such a bright future ahead of them.

What is your opinion on spit, Wildcard? I think it is a very interesting and cool song to say the least, but wont listen to it again until the album drops.
I know this album will be good, but i doubt it will top State Faults for me. Not that it has too, but for the number 1 album of the year i mean. Unless there can be two ;)
