Have songs from both this and Only Love on rotation on several of my playlists but should probably listen to them both from start to end again. Remember finding it hard to decide which one of those were their best (Even tho Untitled is dope as well). Havent got around to their debut yet

Untitled is basically the debut. These Are Lights is considered more of a “lost” album before they became the band they are now

Ah really? So it is rather different from what they went on to make afterwards?

I think this is a better record than Only Love but the crazy parts on Only Love are way crazier and on Jupiter is untouchable as a closer

Yeah agreed! Both records rule and i respect how they managed to pull Ultrapop off as it is such a leap and a departure from their previous sound, but at the same time it doesnt feel that different at all

It's easy, both Only Love and this are untouchable 5s. I agree with the crazy parts and the closer, Ultrapop has the hits instead.

Both 5s but imagine all the best tracks on Only Love and the best tracks here, holy shit it would destroy the Earth

This has higher highs but lower lows imo. Both are still fucking perfect but gun to my head I think I might actually go with Only Love.

There’s some nostalgia attached to that. The year that dropped was basically the soundtrack to my summer.

Pop music for people that like hardcore.

Quick someone else sell it better.

I'm listening...

I adore Dillinger but find almost every other mathcore band underwhelming in comparison if that helps

As the guy with a Dillinger song as his username who considered that band to be in a league of their own, I consider The Armed to have done the same thing. I can't even call them mathcore anymore.

Yeah, maybe untitled could be comparable, but everything after is a whole different beast

So maybe start there.

And this is coming from some who fucking loves Dillinger too, but also thinks most mathcore sucks

This is definitely my favourite release from the band. There's no other album quite like this.
