3:42-5:57 of De Närmast Sörjande / Next Of Kin is an album highlight yea. Great song for the most part, but the loud section in the middle and the long cheesy outro I'm not as big on.

Yea that solo in Lovelorn Crime is incredible... Played with so much feeling.

All band members are at the top of their game on here. Plus, production is pretty decent. Much potential in songwriting but some ideas fall short. Charlatan could have been so much better, to me it sounds a bit unfinished.

The production here is fabulous, and that really added a whole lot to the album.

I'm still not that big on Banemannen / The Garroter but the first minute is sublime. The piano right before the drums kick in reminds me of The Leper Affinity.

Im with Davil with Charlatan, i dont really feel that song is really strong, for me is probably the worst song in the album, still, there is gold here, the solo in Lovelorn Crime its really good with lots of sentiment and I still love Dignity, from the first day I listened to it, Heart in Hand its a good song too, I really like Next of Kin... I dont know the general feeling is really good I think for now it will be a 3.5/4 for me, its close to 4, i will let it grow and see.

Me too, only weak links are Garrator and Charlatan. Not even bad songs too.

Charlatan bugs me, the rest are at least a ‘pass’ grade.

Of Garroter I love how it starts and how it ends. It begins with a big Heritage feel and it ends with a lovely section in which they let the jazz breathe, but as a whole the song is far too centered around the monotonous vocals imo.

Really dig Garroter, just behind Universal Truth & Continuum in my top 3.

Charlatan is ok but I feel like it's a little out of place on the album

God, I don't know what I like best from this album. Minnets Yta (whatever it is in English) is amazing. Also got love for the 2-4 stretch. Charlatan bangs tho.

Yeah it's difficult to pick faves here because everything rules! Super happy about that still.

This is Watershed’s true successor, even if Heritage is the better album.
