Wanna be a dick and make a quick buck.

The album is going for $130 usd online.

It's selling for half that here at the local store.

Decent opening track, great closing track, four filler tracks, and four tracks of mellow prog all working with the same basic rhythmic background with occasional interesting moments.

Really diggingthis, but the second track sounds like a rehash of a handful of riffs we've already heard before. Also think the vocal melodies on this are the least memorable in their discography. Overall I think this has more meat than 10,000 Days, but in terms of memorable vocal melodies not a single track on this stands out so far.

Drumming is amazing, Adam Jones has highlights, but this seems to be a really long and groovy jam record withoutthe vocal and riff melodies that have highlighted their past releases.

Out of all the art scans, why the hell did they pick the most boring piece to be the album artwork front cover? Chocolate Chip Trip reminds me of an interlude that would be on Aenima, I dig it.

Welp. This was about as fun as watching my dog shit on the carpet. 7empest and Invincible were nice I guess. Other than that...a complete snoozefest.

Why the fuck did they not make the booklet artwork the front cover? Looks absolutely insane.

The cover is pretty horrible man. JWT said it best. Why'd they have to pick the most boring one out of all of them? Ugh, it irks me even more after seeing all the scans.

🤷 I kinda like the simplistic and mysterious look of the album's artwork (aside from the logo plastered on it), makes the artwork from the booklet that much more striking.

Not gonna lie, the first time I said “wow this is cool” while listening to the record was chocolate chip trip. That’s pretty late in the record. The whole first half sounds like an AI trying to mimic Tool and doing it perfectly, and the interludes are completely pointless

Tool albums tend to be growers. Bet if you listen a few more times it’ll grow on you.
