A quick check reveals that I have very few 1s (which is to be expected I guess), but double the amount of 1.5s - then you'd need to nearly triple the number of 1.5s to get the total number of 2s. That sounds like a decent balance to me.

bloc - A 3 is what you give to an album you somewhat enjoy, but is either inconsistent, or doesn't quite hit home as hard as you'd want it to. It's a 'good' album, just as the descriptions suggests. Good and average are not one and the same. Who cares about 'conflict'? Lol.

I return to 3s and definitely return to 3.5s (oftentimes they are in the 'semi-regular' category). Anything that's 4+ is in consideration for a purchase, so I agree there. 4.5+ is a compulsory purchase.
Maybe I don't give out too many 4.5s/5s because I'm a cheapskate, thinking about it this makes sense now.

Laura Stevenson's music encompasses pretty much everything I hate about the scene. Post 2010 indie really took a turn for the frigging worse.
