I like how Meshuggah is being brought up in this when their albums post-DEI are boring tedium anyway.

Spencer does drunk karaoke better than I do sober so I doubt he's THAT bad.

“Also why did Periphery fire Chris”

Chris fucked a girl in ash from sumerian’s bed at a party while they were in the process of signing to them and ash got super mad and basically was going to call the whole thing off if Chris was involved. Also Chris did this thing where he wouldn’t talk on tour to save his voice and he’d just write stuff on a white board and it really annoyed misha

It has some awesome tracks like New Millennium Cyanide Christ but then you also have shit like the entire middle of Elastic.

@botb Haha that's actually hilarious, also I always thought it would be hard af to maintain your voice and talk to the crowd at the same time, I kinda don't blame him there

tbh most vocalists don't really talk all that much while on tour for that very reason so I don't get the reason why people would be mad at that.

LMAO! I can imagine Misha refusing to write in order to save his fingers.

Also if talking is too much of an effort on tour then you're probably singing wrong.

it still bewilders me how every time i listen to "Reptile" it doesn't feel like 16 minutes and goes by remarkably quickly. feels like 7-8 at best.

Hahaha. Talking is a tricky beast though. It's worth paying attention to though, especially with a vocal style like this

I mean Chris is also an infamous diva so I’m sure he’s hard to work with, he was just the perfect vocalist for this band
