Agreed. I don’t mind the poppier direction, I loved the Satanic Panic EP, but there’s just too much here I don’t care for at all. helvetesfönster is boring, the hook on Pro Memoria is lame, Life Eternal is easily the worst closer they’ve made.
The rest is fine, still probably my least favorite of their records.

Their stretch of shows a couple years ago was incredible. Saw them right before this record came out and they fucking killed it. They played for like 2.5 hours and every second of it was amazing.

Lucky enough to have seen them in their original lineup twice. Once after their first album (opening for In Flames if can believe) and once headlining shortly after Meliora was released - there were changes inbetween but you get what I'm saying. They were already so damn good the first time I saw them that they completely won me over. Still so bummed that Forge is an asshat.
