Well at least pot and company made the thread alive again lol its a shame that who felt more urge to speak are the 1% stooges that rated this below 1.5 lol, people who haven t rated this at all and peoplel who haven t give this a proper chance yet.
For sure this ain't no brand new's thread...
And yap this may have bits of techdeath but its mainly prog bdm. Also coming to this expecting sludge is a major mistake but is part of the irony latent in the band on all aspects (genre, lyrics, songnames, theme etc)
Agent all tracks are real grabbers. Don t mind the trash talk and put play again when you can.

@Pots: sure we can be friends, I was somewhat triggered by the general point about originality in metal, not about this album in particular (this isn’t exactly reinventing the wheel). If you want boundary pushing metal, this isn’t the band for you.
I listen to a lot of electronic music too & not all of that is exactly game-changing, you’d know better than me regarding that but there’s no realistic way you can claim it all is. Happens in every genre.
Peace.

@demon, again, you dont need to reinvent the wheel to not be derivative, and I never claimed other genres lack stagnation, nor did I ever suggest electronic was the sole proprietor of rejuvenation, those were all points of baseless conjecture on your behalf.
