That live performance of Mother Puncher where Troy is going ham is the best they've ever been live.

is it just me or is 4:24-4:48 of Jaguar God very reminiscent of Megalodon off of Leviathan (starting at 1:19)?

i almost gagged while listening to scorpion breath, it's as if they were like "fuck guys how do we hamfist scott kelly onto here?" and then they realized "oh fuck boys, let's just play the riff from spectrelight again, our fanbase is too fucking stupid to care anyway"

Some of their riffs do get samey, I'll give you that, but "The Ruiner" is more of a "Spectrelight" rip off than anything on this album.

This is one of those albums, you either think it's consistent as hell or virtually every song is meh, follows a very one way formula.

lol meat

yeah these guys are pretty good instrumentally, thats where they shine, but the songs have just become so terribly bland and repetitive over time, now the vocals are basically straight clean with the most generic lyrics ive ever heard, i feel like i'm listening to nickleback at times

they are clearly going for more mass appeal and im dumbfounded that so many sputters are falling for it

i mean if you like it thats cool i just cant deal with the generic rock thing

Show yourself

Show yourself

I want to see everything you're made of

Tear it down and rip it out

Shed your skin and float it down the river

Lose yourself

Lose yourself

Wild horses ride you through the valley

Come alive

Come alive

Sail into the void without your worries

yeah, criticize the most poorly received song. hardly anyone is saying that song belongs on the album, and it is clearly pop oriented.

I really wasn't feeling this album at all after the first listen but it really is a grower. nothing about falling for anything.
