I wish they'd continue with this sound but after that last album, who knows. Looks like they are going with the guy who does all of the Black Dahlia Murder's stuff so that'll be interesting.

Worst thing these dudes could have ever done is lose Ryan Parrish. His drumming was absolutely perfect for what they were doing. Travis Orbin is obviously a fantastic drummer but his style absolutely does not mesh with this band in the slightest

You should check Disinterment, it was Kris and Ryan's band pre-Darkest Hour and is solid, raw old school melodeath. Shame they only ever released one album though.
