dang people really really hate this album, i mean it has a rating of 2.1 after 1043 votes. I seriously don't think its that bad.
I don't generally disagree with peoples opinion except with this. This is the worst album I've ever heard. This is what all bands should aspire NOT to be.

The album isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
Sure it doesn't compare to the KEA-AJFA era, but it is still a Metallica album in it's own right and I enjoy listening to it.
I still believe that if this had been released by another band it would have got a better reception.
However the production is below par and some of the songs could have been shortened.
All Within My Hand & Unnamed Feeling are great.

The funniest thing is that almost everyone agrees this album is bad or terrible. Yet some people give it a 5!
By giving this album a 5 you are saying that this is one of the best albums ever! Heck this is nothing comparable ot what they made in the 80's!!
It seems that as time passes on they seem to get worse. Hopefully their new album wont be a step below this one or else we will have to start rating it at a 0.
