Something about the line "There I saw you in the beer tent hanging with your new husband and your baby on the way. Oh it's kind of strange how it made me miss something, long lost in the both of us now." This def resonates with a 29 yr old me. Fuck 30! At least I have dad bods working on my side.

"yea, neither of them really have voices i'd ever consider even remotely gravelly"

Maybe using the wrong words. I don't know. I started to stream this and there's a weird, harsh tone to his voice at times. Really sounds like he's straining. I don't know how to describe it.

I know what you're talking about. I don't remember that voice from the older stuff I'd heard. One of these loyal fans has to know what we're talking about.

I know what you're talking about, but I can't put it to words either lol. Maybe some kind of refined nasally kind of sound?

i think Greg does sound a little different, his voice is a tad deeper and less nasally than before.

Not a 5 to me, but still pretty great. A few missteps, like 'Charlie's Army', which don't really sit with the overall vibe IMO. But yeah, great release for early thirties ennui and angst.

The closer is probably my least favorite, only because it's not as good as the t/t and the bars.

Thick as Thieves rules. If I HAD to pick a weakest track it'd probably be House on Fire, but it's not bad. Still listening to this album a ton.
