ETID is probably the only band I never worry about when a new album is mentioned.
They delivery every single damn time!

"last 7 albums have all been stellar"
all their albums are quite stellar, agree, but the last 4 are definitely on a higher level than TBD and GP

I’d say big dirty is about on the same level. Gutter Phenomenon doesn’t do anything for me tho

New Junk slays, but it is the only album they have where I feel like it doesn't bring anything different from the previous one. Its 2 Big 2 Dirty.
As for where to start...I feel like if you start with Ex Lives you will ruin your chances of digging their previous 4 albums, which again all rule, but are all kind of period pieces too. They changed the scene with Hot Damn / Gutter / TBD each.

aw fuck, forgot about ex lives.. that one was the tits. most of their stuff is awesome but these last 3 were just top tier

I think so, too. Jordan has an interview out there where he talked about how they were feeling like they are on borrowed time starting around Ex Lives, and so with that and FPU they tried to blow the roof off with chaos.

Idk I feel like this record made ex lives redundant. Like there’s a few good tunes on lthat record (mainly Bimbos and revival mode) but Low Teens does that style so much better.
