It kinda is. album has cringey bad lyrics. if you don't have a problem with them you have a problem with identifying bad lyrics. end of story

It has to be his worst lyrically. I don't know what else would come close and I've jammed his disco many times.

This is partially because he set a very high bar in everything up to and including Dark Fantasy though.

This and Yeezus have a lot of similar themes, but the lyrics on Yeezus compliment the production very nicely. The only reason "On Sight" works is because its beat on that track is as ridiculously obnoxious as its lyrics. The only tracks that have that particular characteristic on here is "Feedback" and I guess "Facts". Tracks like "Famous", "Highlights", "Father Stretch My Hands" and "Waves" have beats that meet Kanye's standards, but have lyrics that don't fit the vibe of the tracks at all.

I mean there's some cringey lines on yeezus, like the most notable ones on I am god that I shouldn't even have to quote, but those can be shrugged off. this is just badddddd

I Am a God has some stinkers yeah but well known as you stated.

Alex I think that's actually a pretty good way of putting it,

@clover: This album is really fun and enjoyable to listen to front to back, it feels like time flies by when I listen to it, there isn't a single boring moment. I rate it high because it brings me great enjoyment and entertainment even after 20+ listens. This album is extremely flawed however none of the flaws ultimately stop me from enjoying it.

Mine is probably...I dunno. I want to say ULB but it gets just a bit less awesome to me every spin.

Has to be Real Friends then.

30 hours is great and i really like kanye's dumb ass riffing away for three minutes about bullshit at the end but yeah i'm skipping that shit on repeat listens, same as i do with most "skit"-esque things.
