After listening to a lot of overlooked melodic metalcore that came out before this, this has gotten a little less appealing.

As for the recording itself, I shall freely admit that I have never actually listened to it. While some of the more pedestrian minds on this reviewing site may scoff at such an audacious a priori judgment, a refined and sagacious mind such as my own can arrive at universal truths in the total absence of examination, through the rigorous science of deduction.

I think this is overall more consistent than LIBAD but I genuinely think Cosmic, Nobody, and the GOD tracks clear everything here aside from I Won’t See You Tonight. And even then Cosmic is straight up my favorite Avenged Sevenfold song.



I mean shit I would say Mattel is better than most songs here, and I’m really only making that comparison because that track is literally the only one that sounds anywhere close to something on this record.
