@Mongi faux = false in French, basically just modern prog that isn't true by their standards
@Ecnalzen basically I just drop files in a folder and they upload and I can send you a download link, so I can hit you up with anything you need

"Seriously though, what does faux prog mean cause people use the term all the time here."
From my understanding, Mongi, anyone that likes older prog thinks most of the modern shit sucks and calls it 'fake (or faux) prog.'
I think that's really pretty much it.

Oh wow fuck that phrase then

Oh, cool. I might take you up on that sometime, Rowan. Not too many Aussie bands have distributors in the states and all their albums cost like 30+ dolla bills online to get imports.

Haha Mongi. Same thing happened to me. It's definitely a grower album.
Most of the Karnivool/DLC inspired bands are so god damn boring. There are a few great ones though and a ton of good aussie melodic prog rock/metal bands in general. Helm, Jericco, Sydonia, Caligula's Horse, Arcane, Vanishing Point, Voyager, Closure In Moscow, Circles, Eleventh He Reaches London, Chaos Divine, Engine etc. Not to mention more extreme stuff like Ne Obliviscaris.

Damn what's with Australia releasing fantastic music in the past ten years haha

i dunno man, maybe it's due to the fact that we're becoming more and more of a multicultural society. Leading to the abandonment of squarish, closed minded ways of thought and life in the wake of a new hard working yet bohemian culture.
