nah this isn't black metal it's just prog metal with a few blast beats and bm-style vox

well yeah I mean they were originally a bm band so it would be unusual for them to COMPLETELY abandon those roots



but if someone asked me to rec them a black metal album I wouldn't direct them to this as a definitive example of the genre. it's way more on the prog side of things
