I wish they did a full gothic country album in the vein of suicide note part I

Check out Phil's side project with his ex wife Southern Isolation it's not bad although she does most the vocals

It's a bit haunting how on FBD Phil says hes done it all but tap the vein, then this album is basically a cry for help from a heroin junkie

didn’t he die for a few minutes during the tour for that album? they had to resuscitate him with an adrenaline shot thru the heart. must have informed a lot of this album

He overdosed and died a few months after this was released but I guess was already shooting up when he wrote this

It's strange to think that he will be the first and the last member to die

His vocals live around 1997-2001 were demonic he just went full out death metal / black metal .. I wish they recorded another album besides RTS which isn’t as ferocious

The fact that Seth Putnam is on a platinum album helps. Instant classic.

i tuned my main d/drop c guitar down -1/4 step like dime the other week and holy shit pantera songs are fun to learn and play when you're in the correct tuning

is there any other bands or guitarists that regularly tune in that fashion? adds so much character to even the most mundane of riffs, let alone the good ones

Down is a lot like that too, also The Sword and ISIS have some stuff where once you nail the tubing it sounds like God.
