And alrite, I think I may need to retract my "front loaded" statement, I think I was thinking more of City by the Light Divided. Subway funeral still doesnt do much for me but everything else is pretty great.

City isnt frontloaded at all tbh. Not only is the closer my favorite song the band has ever penned but songs like running from the rain and into the blinding light also strengthen the back half. Id say its one of if not their most consistent record, but i seem to dig it more than most of the site

Telegraph Avenue Kiss and Lovesong Writer are pretty mundane thursday tracks. They really kill the vibe for me a fair bit.

telegraph rules but id tend to agree that lovesong writer is the worst on the album

Telegraph is a pretty solid song - I'd say that City is way backloaded and probably their worst album

nah. Its actually probably my favorite tied with this

lovesong is the only song that I'm kinda shaky on. front half has other side, sugar in the sacrament and at this velocity so id say its about equal with the mostly killer back half

love song writer, counting 54321, we will overcome, and arc-lamps have always been just average or below for me

city still has some my favorite songs by them though, and it's highlights are hard to beat

sugar in the sacrament is top 10 for me

Sugar in the sacrament is utterly fantastic, agreed.

I really like the 1-2 of arc-lamps and running from the rain though. We will Overcome is actually one of my favourites on the album. Love the pace of it.

lovesong is the only one that I wouldn't consider one of their better songs honestly. If it wasn't on the album city would have 5 potential for me. never got why its considered to be one of their weakest

i don't get the hate either, personally i'd put city above common existence and war all the time.

I actually really like that album. There are some jams on there. Into the Blinding Light rips.

This, common existence and full collapse's are pretty much equal to me. They're all fantastic. Full Collapse maybe a bit higher purely out of nostalgic value.

City by the light divided is not far behind.

Common Existence has their most skramz songs

City has one pretty skramz song

Common Existence is way underrated and has an unbelievable opening five song run. I'd rank it as second best after this and put War at third
