How i'd rank them from best to worst:

The Watcher's Monolith > Into the Painted Gray > Ghosts of the Midwinter Fires > Black Lake Nidstang > To Drown > They Escaped the Weight of Darkness

Although, i usually just listen to the intro and Into the Painted Gray back-to-back. I think the intro complements it really well.

The clouds prepare for battle

In the dark and brooding silence.

Bruised and sullen stormclouds

Have the light of day obscured.

Looming low and ominous

In twilight premature

Thunderheads are rumbling

In a distant overture

All at once, the clouds are parted.

Light streams down in bright unbroken beams

Follow men's eyes as they look to the skies.

The shifting shafts of shining weave the fabric of their dreams

Two random facts:

1) For those who didn't read the fine print on their CD--Agalloch didn't compose or perform any of "They Escaped the Weight of Darkness." So, it's strange to call it an Agalloch song. It's all written by Jackie Perez Gratz. You should check out her work with Grayceon...their new material is killer (saw it live a month back) and the album will be released on Profound Lore in the coming months.

2) If you're wondering what a Nidstang is...check out "nith" and "nithing pole" on Wikipedia.

Willie if you're out there do you know if or when Tyler is going to review this? I've been interested to hear his thoughts.
