It’s cool how those chance associations stick with you and shape your experience of a song from then on.

Sure thing. I strongly associate Tears Don't Fall with the bed in my room, I think I was facing it while hearing the song for the first time.

I associate Red's first album with Tiger Woods PGA Tour '06 game. Played it a lot while listening to that for some reason lol

My dad was a die hard command and conquer fanatic. He played red alert 2 until his fingers bled.

He also liked Goldeneye but the N64 was in mine and my brother's room so he'd sneak in while we were "asleep" and play for an hour or so lol.

"tony hawks underground"

THPS1 introduced me to RATM. Always thought the lyrics were "lights out, turn on the radio" It didn't occur to me until maybe a decade later that the lyrics were the name of the song.

Burnout 3 has arguably the greatest soundtrack of all time. The NHL games introduced me to a bunch of music I ended up getting super into (including BFMV).

For games and music that are totally unrelated - Muse's Absolution is forever associated with Champions of Norrath on PS2 since I got them around the same time. I'd jam Muse on the orange boombox I had in my room while killing mobs and grinding for gear.

Alright slapping a 5 on it, front to back bangers, no weak points, constant rotation.

LET'S Go oh wait, I forgot I don't tend to get excited. So out-of-character of me.

Good rating.

Oh wait, I forgot another thing. The Valentine's Day. This is the best time of the year to jam this goated emocore.
