Marigold was underwhelming given the great things I heard prior to listening, but I enjoy a lot off of this.

Nah, I know what you mean about hype brooch... Sort of with ya actually... But just calling it the way I see it in this case. Plus, I think there is a justification on raising the hype a little here since these guys are barely known even in their homeland.

Maybe that song was hyped a little too much. To me, it isn't the outright clear highlight track... But that's only because most of the others are soooooo good anyway.

Yeah, those 2 are right up there. I think the reason I have Marigold & 'Loser Speak...' as my top 2 is because they're the most memorable. The chorus of Loser Speak often just pops into my head at the strangest times.

Nah, I've been unable to dl anything for about a month.



I recall you recommending it though & still have my doubts it would be for me. Words like "folksy, melancholic & ambient" tend to turn me off.

Get a computer Davey! or whatever

Go to that one pitchfork website and look him up and listen to "in new jersey" to see if you'd like it. It's folksy but it's very very poppy.
