This would probably be my 3rd or 4th favorite, but it's Bjork so it still rules of course

I think the highs on Homogenic are arguably higher, but this is a way more consistent album and probably my second favourite Bjork after Vesp. Homogenic is also great but it does have some noticeable fluff on it

I rated all her albums years ago so my opinions have changed since and my ratings prob don't reflect what I feel rn, but if I had to re-rate:

1) Vesp (hands down)

2) Post

3) Homogenic

4) Debut

5) Medulla

6) Biophilia

7) Volta

8) Utopia

9) Vulnicura (maybe unfair to put this under volta and utopia but the fluff on this album bugs me. The last 3 are all around the 3 range)

Unless the rest of Fossora is dramatically different from the singles (and even then), it's pobably going to make an appearance in the bottom half for me, somewhere around Utopia

POST is like THE BENDS of Björk’s discog. Great in a vacuum, suffers in context, is moderately overrated (esp. by more casual listeners).

I've only listened to Debut and Post now and Post is easily my second favorite

it's the early 2000s. you and your parents go on a camping trip. you look out over the landscape as you hike along the trails. you don't have a worry in the world. life is good. it's the 2010s. you've made some friends at school. you meet up after school, hit the plaza, grab some food, maybe talk to that girl you like a bit. maybe you have some homework that night, but everything's good. it's the 2020s. you wake up. Bjork has released a new album. you go on music discussion forum Sputnikmusic. you type "POST is like THE BENDS of Björk's discog." you copy the ö from google. you wonder how you got here. you don't know. nobody knows. all you know is that there's no way back now. all you can do is look to the future, however bleak it may be

Yeah the consensus has always been Vesp > Homogenic > Post, even though this is slightly wrong and Post is better than Homo
