Badmotorfinger is my favorite Soundgarden album, but Superunknown gives it a run for its money. Superb album.

I can't say I have, Ars. I have the disease that 90% of people have in not checking EPs (although I'm trying to get a better person, I swear!). Does it sound like Ultramega cause I like that album, but I feel like there are a shit ton of great ideas that fall a bit flat because of the eh songwriting.

Screaming Life is really energetic and noisy, lots of punk and post-punk influences. Some of my favourite SG songs are from it. That being said, it differs quite a bit from their other releases

I'd say Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam would be my definitive picks if I only had to pick two, but Soundgarden is a great contestant. Then again, there's lots of quality stuff to choose from, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Mad Season...
