you know absolutely nothing about good metal, please politely shut the fuck up from now on. money knows 1000x more about good metal than you do presently

never said I was an expert, just said that the vox classify them as such...but it's open for debate. Doesn't mean I'm an expert, go listen to some Project Pat and 3-6 so you can be the expert on Rap music too.

you know so little about metal it's actually pretty adorable

i mean, you haven't gotten past the vox = genre stage yet

by your logic, all hardcore and metalcore are in fact death metal

in fact, almost every metal genre is death metal by your logic

I'm not trying to get into a metal subgenre debate, I just simply said in this thread that I dig the album and I, that's right I, feel like the vox make this album death metal, but I DONT CARE WHAT PEOPLE CALL IT. I'm not trying to debate that.

first i will teach you to use adjectives correctly. for instance, you can't be intelligent on anything. you can be knowledgeable on a subject

metal is not of the subjects you are knowledgeable on, for clarification

yes, start with slayer. then, hit yourself for trying to be funny

Well the little I've heard from Slayer is unappealing and boring. But honestly I will check them more if you feel they are worth a second try.

I never claim to be an all knowing metal-head or anything. My favorite style of music happens to be metal-core. I know "metal" people hate this type of music, but I like it.

I was half-kidding but I'm an open-minded person even if I come off like a prick at times. If you hated metal core and I felt there was something good enough to where you had to hear I would recommend it. So, since I'm not the biggest metal fan, I'm open to suggestions for possibly changing my opinion. I'll check the link out.

hey I felt that way about metal core...use to think a few years ago it was "too heavy" but I love it now...

Okay I've heard 3 Cryptopsy songs...pretty gnar vocals, got something with a little more range?

I dig the guitars and drums though.

gnar...yes gnarly. I should clarify, gnarly means good, but also means pretty rough sounding, not overly appealing.

Range in the vocals, a few highs mixed in with the growls.

It was Slit Your Guts, Dead and Dripping, and Phobophile. Digging the guitars on Slit Your Guts a lot.
