I HATE THIS SO MUCH.

i cannot stand the title track of american idiot, nor letterbomb, st jimmy or are we we are the waiting.

Every day on the bus to 8th grade my friends would blast those from the back of the bus... fuck it was annoying.

I remember giving this a listen when it came out and basically confirming to myself that sadly I was probably done with this band forever. When their last good album was Warning, and even that wasn't that good of an album, shit sucks. This was my favorite band as a kid too, the shitty cassette tape copy of Dookie I got from my dad in '96 basically opened the world of rock and roll and music to me as a kid.



How you go from Longview to Know Your Enemy is beyond me.

My brother is pretty convinced that Green Day is the "modern day king of concept albums."
