I experienced it (Streetcleaner) back in 2017 during their headlining set at Hospital Fest (the first year the fest happened) and it was so immense that GC’s bass and Justin’s guitar had equipment malfunctions at separate parts of the show that they finished the set using Nothing’s gear.

Them playing Side A of Post Self was no slouch either IMO, cause the NYC pit last year went pretty wild for those songs...even more so than the Selfless songs and shockingly Like Rats and Streetcleaner. I thought it was bizarrely awesome to witness.

Yes it's industrial metal, but I hear doom metal and sludge sounds. No it's not really industrial, like for example SPK or later Skinny Puppy (VIVIsectVI for example, well more like electro-industrial but still industrial).

Still a very good album, the year 1989 fits perfectly with the bleak atmosphere.

Atmosphere-wise my favourite, sound-wise my favourite is their self-titled album before that. I also really like Selfless.

Ahead of its time, and by today standards, I’d still consider it “modern” if that makes sense.

That doesnt really make too much sense but this album is still a fuckin amazing one.

I do like Pure better though.

What I meant was this album doesn’t come close to being dated or outdated IMO. You could listen to it and then go straight to a modern industrial record like Prurient’s Frozen Niagara Falls and it’s ageless sonically speaking.

For the record, I like Pure almost as much cause of how catchy most of the tracks (Mothra, I Wasn’t Born To Follow, Pure to name a few) while breaking new ground w/experimentation.
