Despite the recurring whiny vocals, I do think this album is incredible, mainly because of the drums. Truthfully, I do prefer the vocals from Waking the Fallen, but I enjoy the Axl Rose style vocals too. Some of A7Xs greatest songs are on this album, but also some of their worst. I think this was the part when they were just starting to freefall from their peak and into their eponymous album.

First half is cool, second half is not.

none of this album can be classed as cool. some of it is pretty good --> Sidewinder, Beast and the harlot and some of its way not cool --> betrayed, mia, strength of the world, seize the day. everything else is ok.

Yeah, I ain't ashamed of any who likes this. "Burn It Down" is one of their best songs, ever.
