It's hard to ignore such retardation

Go back to your retarded argument or I'm leaving.

TAS being called hardcore hasn't anything to do with it. Killswitch Engage had very little to no hardcore influence on their first few albums.
You dumb, you real dumb.

Medusa is definitely one of the better melodeath songs of the decade. Way better than Gothenburg rubbish like Sonic Syndicate.

Mappy just won't let it go. Calm down, girl! Sit! Good dog!

Mad obvi hardcore influence.

Same thing here. I hear many parts of the album that resemble a two step(not really a two step, but have that feel).

Melodeath riffs + thrash beats != hardcore parts.

I think that was one of the only songs on CYB I actually enjoyed, that and Pray for Plagues. Remember sitting in my car when I first learned how to drive, chillen in my norma jean shirt with medusa cranked bein' like "Heh, I'm rad"
I'd facepalm old me if I could

Here we go:
Do BMTH sound like any of these bands
At the Gates- No
Eucharist- No
Carcass- No
Dark Tranquility- No
Ceremonial Oath- No
Gates of Ishtar- No
BMTH have influences by all of these bands, but they don't sound anything like them. Proof that BMTH are not melodeath, but a horrible amalgamation of death metal, hardcore, melodeath, and shitty one-note breakdowns. Deathcore.

The fact that you're pretending this album doesn't have a similar feel to Slaughter Of The Soul and then using examples of bands that don't sound like BMTH as your argument is just retarded.
Listen to The Black Dahlia Murder, listen to old Through The Eyes Of The Dead, listen to Tell Her I Said Goodbye, Epoch Of Unlight, any American MDM really, and tell me there's not a vast similarity outside of breakdowns...
