Yeah the album after this is cool, but goddamn where the fuck did all of this potential go? And why is Hellyeah the worst thing ever?

Considering how bad the quality dips after End of All Things, they actually ended on a pretty high note. Their S/T is solid as fuck imo. But nothing comes close to this regardless.

I'm not massive on theatrics or costumes either, but I was pretty gutted when they scrapped the costumes; Chad looked pretty bad ass and Gred looked fucking hilarious as a fat devil.

I defenitily agree with you there Doc.. their self titled was a step back into the right direction.. not bad at at all.

I would like to see them get back together and try to record something again

No band is as big a cock tease as Tool though. Just not possible.

Well I know Tool would be of high quality, and would be worth the wait in some form.. The wait for a mudvayne record has been long, but I just don't even know if they've got another truly amazing record in them now. I'd definitely liked to see it happen though.

It's a real shame Ryan doesn't do a lot of his own music anymore; he shifted to the recording side of things the days. A real waste of talent.

The start of Nothing to Gein is amazing, Ryan's bass and that vocal melody < 3

Worst mistake this band ever made drowning him out in later albums.

The singer is exactly 50% Anselmo and 50% Jonny Davis, the careful lifting of the latter's entire vocal tick repertoire drops this a whole point - disgraceful shit all told

Well Chad's better than both of them regardless.

Hey if you prefer the copy to the original that's your choice

The Anselmo and JD vibe is spot on, can't argue that, but I still enjoy this one Doof

I don't mind him sounding like Anselmo at all, loads of singers do. It's the little quirky things he does that are just like the quirky little things Jon Davis does that just seem way too calculated for me. No one does that stuff other than Davis or someone copying Davis.

Music itself is alright though.
