I still fuking love this album. Especially those last 4 minutes of White Walls (which I always bring up when i comment on this album).
But really that harmonized solo from 12:10-12:20 is like the sexiest thing ever.

jeez ninjuice, now I have to go listen to the song. It's nice having the actual cd to blare out of my speakers.
and oh
that harmonized solo from 12:10-12:20 is like the sexiest thing ever.
Top 5 definitely.

Yeah BTBAM write some of the best solos ever imo. I'll be walking from class to class during school and begin jamming in mind to that section of White Walls, or the ending solos to Selkies.

The riff at 1:20 in Foam Born (B): The Decade Of Statues sounds like it came right out of Ghost of Perdition by Opeth. Don't know if anyone has said that before, but I didn't feel like looking.

I'm giving this a 4 for the musicianship, but there are areas which annoy me. Firstly the blast parts, I like blast sections but on here they don't work and are overused. I also don't like Tommy's harsh vocals. The constant time/genre changes concept is starting to run a little thin now as well.
Having said that, the bass and guitar work is incredible and I love the bass in Viridian and its seamless transition into White Walls. This Message Edited On 11.16.08

Whats wrong with Tommy's harsh vocals? I think they're really good. Maybe not the best, but still good. This Message Edited On 11.16.08

i just recently got into this band, starting with this album, and my favorite part about it is how contrived and all over the place it is. you can enjoy the really heavy, metalcore moments in the album, but the songs to me are defined by which non metal part they go into in it. and they really can pull off the silliness too and somehow make it not so silly (the bar room, the circus-y music etc.)

I hate their musicianship, but I love the vocals. 5/5
