this fucking rocks. honestly on par with peace sells, idk which is better. i prefer dave's vocals on here. he sounds pissed as hell. such an angry and heavy album. makes sense given my reading that dave was on a lot of heroin at the time! first two tracks are such a kickass opener. in my time of need obviously great as well. and i feel like i'm the only one who loves the anarchy cover, dave's unorthodox vocals fit the song so well. production maybe a little muddy but eh it's got some character and fits the aggression.

Hook in Mouth is the most pissed off Dave and you can hear the anger in his tone. This album isn’t elite but Hook in Mouth is 10/10.

i love production here (original master). the big reverby drums and that evil jackson kv2 no-fucks-given guitar tone. not the best songs from classic megadeth era but the best sound for sure. sounds so industrial and dystopian
