I think it's veeeeeery easy to interpret the narrative voice here as having a whole mess of hangups around the fairer sex, it's the same "type of guy" as on EYEWTKAS played as a straight villain, or at least that's been my interpretation. Not a glassjaw listener so the comparison is admittedly a broad one
