All the more reason for us to listen to what they have to say, right gice?

This is their best album. It takes everything they've done, makes it more sweeping (the intro to Wrists caught me way off guard) and concise, and lessens the repetition. Good stuff right here.

Panopticon or whatever was better by quite a bit. Album is good but doesn't really have an In Fiction moment to put it close.

Yeah it grew on me /faggot.

Neurosis is still much much better though.

I also think this is their most solid and focused album. Other albums have some great tracks but this one, every track is great.

The reason people think the drums sound the same is because of the focus on the toms.

Thank you for clarifying that. I remember having that argument with someone one time on here. Too bad they didn't realize Ive been educated in percussion and drumming for about 8 years.

This is so good, I don't think I've ever been so in awe of an album's atmosphere before.

This album is probably their most accessible and easily their best. I would start here and work you way backwards. Some people will probably tell you to start at Oceanic and than move your way up.

This album is awesome, especially Dulcinea.

But listen to it too much and you might slit your wrists outta depression.

I'm finding it hard to get into this album. I've listened to it several times, but I haven't really caught on yet. Further application of Isis will be undertaken.

When I bought this CD (my first experience with post-metal), I really hated it. But now, Isis is one of my favorite bands...

That happened to me with Opeth, Converge, Pig Destroyer and Isis...

I just got this album a bit ago. After the first listen, I would've probably said a 3 or 3.5, compared to Oceanic and Panopticon. But the more I listen to it, the more I really love this album. Still needs some more listens before I can judge it though.
