and once again you fail at sarcasm.

frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.
You don't seem to realize that you guys are propelling the "metalhead = jerk" stereotype forward full throttle. If that's what you want, then by all means continue. I for one usually make an effort to treat others as I would like to be treated. That's what I have to say about the matter, and now I'm done.
I do feel compelled to check these guys out though... is there any order you think I should get albums in?

What are you even talking about?
Converge is just ass kicking music.
There is no denying it.

I have heard the first four tracks off the album. As usual, typical hard-hitting stuff. Once I get some money I think I will be purchasing this.

This is my first Converge album and I'm currently listeing to Orphened as I type this. Grim Hearts / Black Roses is epic!

I think this album is their best todate. when I first heard it I didn't feel that way, but after listening to it several times very stoned, I feel that all this record is, is converge maturing into a better band. Jane doe was a landmark in hardcore(although they don't deserve to be insulted with the titles 'hardcore' or 'metalcore') but this new album just shows that converge keeps getting better and obviously does not give a fcuk about their marketability because they are already giants.

am I one of the few who thinks Lonewolves and Plagues are two absolutely kickass songs? Aside from Grim Heat, Plagues is my favorite track on the album. Not that there is really a bad song on here.

"Plagues" is the shit, I don't get why people don't find something good in it. It drags you right into "Grim Heart" with a great mood to set you up for it.

I think this album a good deal but I don't really think it tops You Fail Me. I mean, it just doesn't strike me the way their other albums have, as far as being so flat out heavy and innovative as their albums were. But then again, maybe I just need to keep listening to it and it will hit me. But I don't know, I've listened to it about 10 times yet.

I saw them at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park and they played Conduit and The Saddest Day. This was probably the best converge show i've been too. It would have been better I was able to make it to one a few years back when they played Jane Doe live...I had previous obligations
Oh and if any of you like The Locust you will probably like Justin Pearson's (bassist of the locust) side project Some Girls. They were gooooood This Message Edited On 11.27.06

Vengeance is like a minute long set of hard punches to the face. The drumming in it is amazing.

Ommigod. Ohhhmigod. This album melts face.
Coming from a person that lives off of screamo, I love "Orphaned." I never heard a Converge song that was that melodic. This Message Edited On 12.04.06
