The Hunter is good, but I'm not sure I prefer it to even my least fav tracks off LPWP (Revelator and Magnolia). Sorry laid the hearth could've been 6 minutes shorter

i do wish they went a different direction with george's vocals. he's always the weakest link on their releases. they're always a bit too thin or they sound a little too artificially processed

Gave it a try and definitely not a fan. I get the hype for this style of music but it just sounds like endless chaotic noise that gets tiresome way to quick. Thankfully the second track gives you a break but it doesn’t do much for me in the end. Best part of the album is the lyrics that are really well written, but I can barely hear the vocalist cause he’s so low in the mix along with whatever effects he has on his vocals so I can’t understand anything. I can appreciate the love a lot of people have for it but I personally won’t ever listen again.
