I will never understand the hate Guardians gets

For me it would be : Constellation > R&R > Messenger > Thrill Seeker > FIFAP > Leveler > Phantom Anthem > Death Below > Guardians
|
| |
is.this actually good?
|

2021 leveler might be my favorite of theirs other than constellations

if you’re a messengers and constellations guy it’s definitely worth checking out, captures that era really well with some of their modern flair put in. but it definitely fits with the older albums more so than the newer ones.

I'm admittedly a recovering ABR addict but I'm definitely off the wagon with this one

Scoot yes unless you're completely worn out on their brand, you will dig

@Cormano - it's the worst offender of ABR same-ness with little to no standout moments. That's why for me anyway. It's got some solid tracks but as a whole it's just weak by comparison

Aside from Legions this is very mid and on brand for ABR. Constellations was their last truly stellar release.

Thoroughly disagree with that - this is far from mid.

'Constellations was their last truly stellar release.'
I mostly agree with this but I think this album is quite good.

Oh wow what the fuck this actually is Messengers with -slightly- progressive tendencies and meatiee production
Weirdly I do still have a mild preference for Messengers/Thrill Seekers but I think they're just a nostalgic warmth that is encapsulated by mid 2000s melocore that even the titans can't totally replicate
In any case
This is still indeed, quite nasty

R&R > Messengers > Fifap > Constellations > Leveller > this one > the shit from an ass albums between fifap and this one

SOS and Den of Thieves alone might push this to a 4 for me.
Nameless and Salvation trying their hardest to change my mind though

Wow Jake’s vocals have really evolved with time. Digging the more hardcore delivery

This is fun and nostalgic. Some of these breakdowns have me full blown bopping.
