For whatever it's worth, I've pretty much felt that way about most of Hammock's discog until this album. I didn't know what it is about this one, but it just hits different (for me).

Nothing wrong with feeling this is just nice, because like I said before, that's generally how I feel about most Hammock. This one just really resonates with me. It's breathtaking and emotionally stirring in a way I can't say I've felt since Sigur Ros' ( ), but I also do not frequent this scene as often as some others on this site.

As a frequenter and hammock fanboy, I can say this is easily one of their best, if not one of their most mature. Glad it’s nice for you though!
Calling this generic completely removes everything any worthy praise of it’s stellar production, emotional intelligence, expertly crafted albeit traditional song structures.
